> **Synthesized text.** Synthesized for Knowware from each named person's published work. Not a quote. Six voices are composites of a public role, not real individuals.

Editorial Rules

# The non-negotiables.

1. **No tracking, no analytics scripts, no cookies, no third-party share pixels.** Sharing = `navigator.share`, clipboard copy, and plain share links. Nothing loads from a network until the reader clicks.
2. **Blue (--signal) is earned:** thesis words, the one line, actions. Never decoration.
3. **No runtime AI features.** Synthesis happens in the manuscript, not the browser.
4. **The corpus is not the person.** Never "Pearl says" — "the corpus surfaces."
5. **Machine proposes; human approves every drop before fire.**

On the 81 voices

Every voice in Knowware is placed where their work bears most directly on the coordination question of that chapter. The synthesised dialogues draw on published writing, recorded talks, and documented positions. They are written for the book, not quoted, and every synthesized line on this site carries an asterisk saying so. The author takes full responsibility for the construction.

Legacy voices (marked) have passed. Their corpus is in the public record. Composite voices (marked) are not real individuals. Each is synthesized from the public record of a role, such as an NSA technical director or a DARPA program manager.
